Just revisting some shots I took at a Royal Wedding street party a year ago, this one stood out for varying reasons

Surprise in the post for my son today, Grandad put a full Carlisle strip in the post for him so I couldnt resist in getting him to pose for a shot for me, great timing as he has football on Saturday morning, time to introduce Essex to the mighty Carlisle United

Newborn photograpy is something ive wanted to try for a while, im not sure if im going to excel at it or not, newborn photography seems to have really taken off in the last 12 months with lots of mentoring courses for those aspiring to shoot newborns popping up everywhere, I looked into attending one of these courses but the cost for a single days mentoring shocked me, so for now im going down the self taught route,  my friend Amanda gave birth to georgous little Melanie Hope 3 weeks ago so I tried a few shots with her, I think I have a long way to go to perfect my newborn shooting but for a first ever effort im happy with it, I know Amanda is happy with this shot so thats pretty much all that counts
